Cause of death: Stupidity!

The post-mortem report issued after the extinction of mankind, will state cause of death as stupidity. Why? Because, despite being un-quantifiable, stupidity is very easily identifiable in words and deeds, and indeed it is the leading cause of termination of life.

Next after the Last - Tverskaya

As I entered the room behind Asghar, and waived a general “Hi” to everyone present, I counted at least 8 heads in there. Adding the two, who brought us there it made a total count of 10 people sharing an apartment.

Forgive me for being guilty

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”.
Do you think that this is just the Bible’s position towards life? No, sir this is the guiding light for social engineers and manipulators. One great sense in human beings is the sense of guilt: the most easily exploitable, the longest lasting, and the most effective one.

Next after Last - The den

The train eased into a dead-end platform of Moscow’s Kazansky Railway Station. On the way from Ryazan, we had entered the city quite some time ago. I never thought that Moscow was such a big city. Even if it was not one of the most populated cities at that time, still territorially it was huge.

Country roads take me home

Back in the days, nursery and primary school curriculum included a lot of poems, but the best of the best was:
Rain, rain go away,
Come back again some other day,
Little me wants to play.

TV ads influence people's linguistic trends. In countries like Pakistan, where language has least preference, when it comes to betterment, such advertisement trends, which propagate linguistic distortion are as dangerous as threats of terrorism.

Beheading human rights - What kind of world are we living in?

Although I am a strong opponent of drawing definitive lines along the vectors of good and bad, but sometimes you need to have some idea of the differences between right and wrong.
I have written earlier about my disappointment in the Nobel Award Committee’s incompetence, after they blessed Barrack Hussein Obama with the Nobel Peace Prize.

Abdul Sattar Edhi - Real life hero

Abdul Sattar Edhi (Urdu: عبدالستار ایدھی‎; 1 January 1928 – 8 July 2016) was a Pakistani philanthropist, ascetic, and humanitarian who founded the Edhi Foundation which runs hospitals, homeless shelters, rehab centres, and orphanages across Pakistan.
Real life heroes, might not be able to fly or throw fie-balls, but they save human lives. Mr Edhi exhibited the life saving ability all through his life. He provided shelter to thousands upon thousands of orphans and homeless children.
He dedicated his life to serving mankind, and never rethought his decision till his last breathe.
If you need a role-model Abdul Sattar Edhi is the best model!

Success - how to measure it

Swat Valley - the nature's generous gift

Swat (Pashto: سوات‎ pronounced [ˈswaːt̪]; historically known as Uddyana, lit. garden); is a river valley and an administrative district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. It is the upper valley of the Swat River, which rises in the Hindu Kush range. The capital of Swat is Saidu Sharif, but the main town in the Swat valley is Mingora.

Assets or liabilities - decide or suffer...

Another day and another loudly resounding terrorist attack committed in Pakistan, by religious extremists.
A group of 3 terrorists entered Police Training College in the provincial capital of Quetta at around 11:00 pm. The law enforcement agencies responded very swiftly, and some 3 hours down the line, all the terrorists were dead, but before dying they took lives of 61 people and injuring more than 100 people.

Dr Last - last time I saw him - (part 6)

“Hello. I am Dr Last. Dr Alexander Last.”
The sound of this introduction, made me feel, for the first time that I was hopelessly sick. I was so sick that the last doctor had come to see me.

Dr Last - at last - (part 5)

The train came to a halt with a jerk. I woke-up to find that it was already morning and people were up and roaming. I was on the upper berth, so I lowered my head over the edge to see through the window. We were at some station; probably already out of Uzbekistan, because the train had been running for about ten hours now.

Bhutan - Paradise not yet lost

Bhutan is probably the last place on earth, which can take pride in not violating the sanctity of nature and its own natural beauty.
It is probably the only country in the world, where people understand that material wealth and money are not the goals, but means of achieving the goal. And for Bhutanese people the goal is HAPPINESS.
Watch the video and you will understand how happy the people really are. Enjoy!

Dr Last - Policeman - (part 4)

The sunlight pierced through the tall wooden windows with glass panes. As I opened my eyes, I felt the dryness in my mouth, and a slight headache. Probably the few shots of vodka that I consumed before sleeping had dehydrated me. My whole body refused to obey the get-up command. I raised my hand and took a look at my watch. It was already after 8 in the morning.

Climbing all the way to the top of K2 (3D)

K2 is considered to be one of the most difficult peaks to climb. Although it stands a bit lower than Mount Everest, it is ranked way higher in terms of difficulty.

Dr Last (part 3)

The new clean room was as spacious as the other one, with the only difference that it did not have the floor with the chunks of vegetables, rejected by someone’s stomach.
Yes this was not a three-star hotel. There was nothing in that room, which even slightly resembled a hotel, but at least it had a bed, and that meant long awaited rest.

Frost and bite and a sip to ignite

It is quite feat to drive in an open vehicle in late September in Poland and the adjacent Baltic states. But These guys did it!
Have fun seeing how they froze their asses off!

Dr Last - (part 2)

Every step I took towards that tinted-glass door was a step out of that bureaucratic hell. I was already trying to put this episode behind me, when right by the exit, a man came up to me and asked me for my passport.

Dr Last - (part 1)

Back in the days, when I used to believe in uniformity and my thoughts were filled with cliché ideas, I decided to go to the ex-Soviet states of Uzbekistan and Russia.

Rolling in Helsinki

What better way then this to get attention. The only problem is that you must learn to play with daggers and to handle the cosmic circle. Otherwise you might be getting more medical attention then public attention!
Enjoy the skills displayed by the Tuk-Tuk Travellers in Helsinki!

Joyride through Pakistan

It is always a pleasure to see people travelling through the Northern areas of Pakistan on motorcycles. And mind you I am not talking about Europeans travelling through on their 850CC BMW rides. I am talking about people riding urban bikes of 70, 100, and 125CC.

Myanmar style

Very few people go to Myanmar due to certain reasons, but the Tuk-tuk Travelers did make it to this land shrouded by mystery and here is a short clip showing you Burmese |Style..

CMB 2 SIN

Once we will practically have the warp-drives, probably then we could travel from Bandranaike to Changi in such short time. Until then we can only watch how it might occur!

Riding through Pakistan

A journey we undertook in 2011, at a time when people were reluctant to travel to these parts. We opted to travel by motorcycle, because we needed to experience and to show that things were not nearly as bad as they were portrayed.
All along the route, we met only good hospitable people. We learned a lot about the culture of the region and definitely made some good friends.
Pakistan is a great country to visit and if you want to se paradise, go north to Gilgit-Baltistan. Enjoy the video!

Mother of all wars

Diplomats used to be people trained to play with words. They knew how to play with words like, murder, assassination, liquidation and extermination. They knew when to use which word. But lately the military industrial complex has probably started employing diplomats and copywriters, because now the military industrial complex plays with words.

Dreaming in Nepal

The Tuk-tuk Travellers did this video in 2014, while they were in Nepal. It focuses on the efforts of young people trying to earn a chance in life. The rest is in the video, so enjoy watching!

Planet of the apes

wajahat-masood-
sajid-ali-

The gods of science!

When you watch a game of football, you always cheer for one of the two teams. Why? Because, you are either with team A or team B. In very very rare cases people watch football. In nearly all the cases football is subsided by team belongings.
Same goes for everything in life. You are either with one idea or the other. You are either with one party or the other. Family life is not much different as well. Your father or mother love all their children, but they always love one sibling more than the other. Their apparent love for all of their offsprings, is a self-deception, crafted under social effects and pressures. The objectivity of parental love vanishes like infatuation, the moment their favorite child, enters a conflict with the less appreciated child. Understanding the fact of unequal, parental love, suddenly makes unquestioned parental love a dogma. What is a dogma? Well, dogma is something that we never question, despite all its shortcomings. The word dogma is normally reserved for religious beliefs.

Poor! I'm not.

Human history is full of myths and legends. I mean there are myths about Hercules, and about Aphrodite. Then there are myths about Columbus discovering the new world. There are myths about flying thrones in Mahabharata, and myths about Rome being a democracy.
Then there are more recent myths about the Americans toppling governments for the good of depressed people. There are myths about terrorists fighting against terror. Myths go as far as Osama Bin Laden being a soldier of God. There are myths about aliens kidnapping people trying to boil perfect DNA in a lab.

Master of the universe...

Sitting in a cafe, having coffee, I have a lot on my mind. There are things that I can decide right now, and there are things that I want resolved right now. Strange isn't it! Things I can tackle are not the things that I want tackled right now. Probably it is human nature that our desires do not comply with our possibilities.

Achtung! Fascism is on the rise!

Farkhanda, an Afghan national, was just 27, an educated young woman, a teacher, and most interestingly a Hafiza. Why interestingly? Because the people, who killed her initially claimed that she had burnt the pages of the Quran. But, what she had done was that she stood up against a mullah, who was selling belief, and ripping-off poor uneducated, distressed, superstitious women.
