This term is very well known to pilots and especially air force pilots. What this means is a specific altitude, at a specific speed, beyond which the airplane cannot be saved. This is the point after which the crash is imminent.
However, this
term is not only limited to flying. In everyday life, during the course of
making decisions, one often comes across the point of no return.
For example, if
you decide to go ahead with an extra-marital affair, this is a point of no
return, because once the wheel of happenings is left to rotate as it will, you
find yourself in circumstances uncontrollable.
This might not
be a very crystal clear analogy, but you can understand that beyond a certain
point in time, it becomes impossible for you to control the consequences. Once
you commit your first crime, it becomes impossible to turn back time.
In a common
man’s life, such points of no return are not very remarkable, unless one starts
analyzing life minutely. But as far as states or corporations are concerned
such points in time are easily identifiable.
In early 1990’s
Americans came across one such point of no return. This was the time, when a
decision had to be made about going to war, or not going to war, in the
middle-east, during the Iraq Kuwait crisis.
Unfortunately,
for the Americans, and fortunately for the rest of the world, the Americans
could not identify that point of no return, hence indulging in war. Ever since,
the Americans have been fighting wars, endless wars, everywhere.
The middle-eastern conflict, later turned into war in Somalia,
and Serbia, war in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Kosovan war, war against terrorism,
the last Iraqi war, the war in Libya, the Syrian war, near war in the south
china sea, war in Ukraine, and ultimately, maybe now, a full-fledge war in
Europe, again under the guise of supporting Ukrainian “democracy”.
All of the
aforementioned wars could have been avoided, and the Americans could had been
in a leading position, had they not misread the point of no return in early
1990’s during the Desert Storm bullshit.
As a result of
missing that point of no return, today the Americans are facing an existential
crisis. I’m not scared of naming things as they are. USA is engulfed in
existential crisis. They have crisis of law enforcement. They have judicial
crisis. They have racial crisis. They even are facing economic crisis, despite
the fact that so-called Bezoses and Musks of this world call themselves
“American”.
The point in
time, when the Americans could have taken the lead in calling out for a
multi-polar world, hence taking the seat at the head of the table, is long
gone. At that point of no return they opted for war and global hegemony.
Therefore,
today it is China and Russia, who are talking about a multi-polar world. In
this non-imperialistic, multi-polar world, Americans, and their forefathers
(the British), have no place. They can enjoy the rear benches if they want, but
they can never be in the leading position. And this is what is causing hysteria
among the rulers of these opportunists. Now that they are on the sidelines of a
multi-polar world, they are trying to, once again, fight their way in, by
inflating the non-existent conflict in Ukraine.
Since we are
talking about the points of no return, the Americans also crossed a financial
point of no return, when Richard “The wicked” Nixon declared a divorce with the
gold standard. That my friends was the financial point of no return for
Americans, and their cronies.
Because the day
they decided to turn on the printing machine, they buried the financial
supremacy opportunity, which was handed over to them as a result of WW2. Since
the day Nixon blurted those words, the imperial financial kingdom embarked on a
gradual decline.
Of course it
did not happen, and could not happen, overnight. But 50 years down the line,
and the Americans, and their western European poodles are facing high
inflation, high rates of unemployment, lack of manufacturing capabilities, and
have to live with millions of people, who cannot imagine getting money as a
result of labor. Today the western financial system is on life support, in the
face of crypto currency development and appearance of alternative financial
systems, such as countries trading in their local currencies (CIPS), just
saying “bye-bye” to USD or Sterling Pound or Euro.
Hence, the most
important lesson to be learnt is, never underestimate the point of no return in
your life, may you be an individual or a state. And as far as the dear
Americans are concerned, they are more than 30 years beyond their point of no
return. So it doesn’t matter if they go to a new war in Ukraine or not. They
are destined to crash.
